Friday morning saw heavy panic and pandemonium at the Iwo Road interchange area of Ibadan as some members of the proscribed transport union in the state on Friday attempted to invade the parks and forcefully take over control and leadership.

The early morning confusion saw many people scampering for safety with many shops and business owners abandoning their wares for safety.

But the quick intervention of security operatives was able to bring calm to the situation which had seen many motorists and road users from and to the Iwo Road axis spend about two hours in a traffic standstill while the imbroglio lasted.
